Imam Bagher (P.B.U.H):

Try to learn knowledge, for learning it is meritorious and mere seeking it is a kind of worship .



Le Imam Bagher:

Essayez d'apprendre la science, car l'apprentissage de la science aura la récompense et la chercher est une sorte de culte de Dieu.

امام باقر علیه ‌السلام

تَعَلَّمُوا الْعِلْمَ فَإنَّ تَعَلُّمَهُ حَسَنَةٌ، وَطَلَبَهُ عِبَادَةٌ
دانش بیاموزید که آموختن آن پاداش دارد و جست‌و‌جوی آن عبادت است

The Prophet Muhammad ( P.B.U.H) said:

for everything there is a basis, and the basis of Islam is deep insight. To the Satan one scholar is more hateful than one thousand pious men.

Le Prophète Muhammad (P.B.U.H) a dit:

pour tout ce qu'il ya une base, et la base de l'islam est profonde perspicacité. Pour Satan est un savant plus haineux que un mille hommes pieux.

قال رسول الله صلوات الله علیه و آله

إنّ لکلّ شیءٍ دعامة و دعامة هذا الدین الفقه و لفقیهٌ واحدٌ اشدّ علی الشیطان مِن الف عابد

هر چیزی بر پایه ای استوار است و پایه این دین تفقه است. برای شیطان ( تحمل وجود ) یک فقیه از هزار عابد دشوار تر است

نهج الفصاحه / حدیث شماره 890

The Holy Prophet [s] said:
"Someone who possesses knowledge on a subject but conceals it when he is asked will be bridled with reins of fire."
(Therefore, if a person possesses information that would help a bewildered person and improve his situation but he remains silent, he has surely committed a great sin.)

قال رسول الله صلی الله علیه و آله و سلم
من کتم علما عن اهله الجم یوم القیامه لجاما من نار

پیامبر اکرم صلوات الله علیه فرمودند
هر که علمی را از اهل آن نهان دارد، روز قیامت لگامی از آتش بر او زنند

The Prophet Muhammad (P.B.U.H) says:
A searcher of knowledge among the ignorant is like an alive person among death.
Nahj-al-fasaha

قال رسول الله صلّ الله علیه و آله

طالب العلم بین الجهّال کالحیّ بین الأموات
جویای علم میان جاهلان چون زنده میان مردگان است
نهج الفصاحه

Islam's prophet (P.B.U.H) says:
one who knows something and does not observe it, and does not use his knowledge, his punishment in the hereafter would be the most severe one.

brief description
in islam's logic, knowledge is always a tool for practice and improving individual and society's life. otherwise it has no value. those who commit a sin unknowingly have less responsibility, but high responsibility shall be on the burden of those who commit a sin knowingly, and those who neglect making aware different levels of society, and whosoever enjoys a small or big share of knowledge, shall bear the same responsibility accordingly.

قال رسول الله صل الله

أَشَدُّ النّاسِ عَذَاباً فِى الْقِيامَةِ عَالِمٌ لَمْ يَعْمَلْ بِعِلْمِهِ وَ لَمْ يَنْفَعْهُ عِلْمُه

بد ترین مردم در روز قیامت، عالمی است که به علمش عمل نمی کند و دانشش او را سود نمی رساند

The Prophet Mohamad(P.B.U.H) said:
Woe on the one who doesn’t know; and woe on the one who knows but doesn’t act upon his knowledge.

قال رسول الله صلّ الله علیه و آله

ویلٌ لمن لا یعلم و ویلٌ لمن عَلِمَ ثمّ لا یعملُ

پیامبر اکرم صل الله علیه و آله میفرماید

وای بر انکه نداند و وای بر آنکه بداند و عمل نکند

The Prophet Muhammad (P.B.U.H) says:
be aware! knowledge not furnished with thinking has no profit!
be aware! recitation of quran not accompanied with reflection is useless!
be aware! worship lacking meditation has no effect!

brief description
filling the brain with scientific formulas, logical rules and philosophical principles, and any knowledge has a little effect as long as it is not in concordance with proper reflection, clear world- view and familiarity with fundamentals of man's life.
as reciting holy verses of quran has a little effect when it is not accompanied with meditation and thinking about them, the worships missing the light of thinking and wisdom are like a spiritless body, and lose the high educational effects.

قال رسول الله صل الله عليه و آله

أَلا لا خَيْرَ فى عِلم لَيْسَ فيهِ تَفَهُّمٌ، ألا لا خَيْرَ فى قرائة لَيْسَ فيها تَدَبُّرٌ، ألا لاَ خَيْرَ فى عِبادَة لَيْسَ فيها تَفَكُّرٌ

پیامبر رحمت صلّ الله علیه و آله

در علمي كه در آن فهم نباشد خيري نيست در قرائتي كه در آن تدبر نباشد خيري نيست و در عبادتي كه در آن تفكر

نباشد خيري نيست
