The holy prophet - Muhammad (P.B.U.H) said:

Hypocrities normally have three characteristics: Jolly in public, lazy and depressed when they are in their soliyude, and always expect praise from other people.

Le Saint Prophète (P.B.U.H) :

L'hypocrite a trois caractéristique: il est gai chez le peuple mais paresseux dans le privé, et il veut qu'on le loue à cause de tous ses affaires.

حضرت محمد صلّ الله علیه و آله

للمرائی ثلاث علاماتٍ: ینشط اذا کان عند الناس و یکسل اذا کان وحده و یحبّ ان یُحمد فی جمیع اموره

ریاکار سه نشانه دارد: در حضور مردم با نشاط است و در خلوت، تنبل، و دوست دارد دیگران در همه ی کارها او را بستایند

A faithful believer is always anxious for two things: for his past sins that he does not know how
God will treat with him, and for his remaining life that he does not know what he will do!

Pour les peches qu' ila fait a passe et il ne siat pas comment Dieu les traitra et pour sa vie a venir paece qu' il ne sais pas ce qu' il ferra desormais.

رُوِيَ عن الإمام جعفر بن محمد الصادق ( عليه السَّلام ) أنهُ قَالَ

اَلْمُؤْمِنُ بَيْنَ مَخافَتَيْنِ: ذَنْبٌ قَدْ مَضَى لايَدْرِى ما صُنْعُ اللّهُ فيه و عُمْرٌ بَقِىَ لايَدرِى ما يَكْتَسِبُ فيه

از حضرت صادق علیه السلام روایت شده که همانا فرمود

مؤمن حقیقی همواره بین دو امر نگران است: گناهان گذشته اش که نمیداند خداوند با آنها چگونه برخورد میکند، و باقی عمرش که نمیداند چه کسب خواهد کرد

O you who believe! be maintainers of justice, bearers of witness of Allah's sake, though it may be against your own selves or (your) parents or near relatives; if he be rich or poor, Allah is nearer to them both in compassion; therefore do not follow (your) low desires, lest you deviate; and if you swerve or turn aside, then surely Allah is aware of what you do.

Holy Qur'an / 4:135

Ô les croyants ! Observez strictement la justice et soyez des témoins (véridiques) comme Dieu l'ordonne, fût-ce contre vous mêmes, contre vos père et mère ou proches parents. Qu'il s'agisse d'un riche ou d'un besogneux, Dieu a priorité sur eux deux (et Il est plus connaisseur de leur intérêt que vous). Ne suivez donc pas les passions, afin de ne pas dévier de la justice. Si vous portez un faux témoignage ou si vous le refusez, [sachez qu'] Dieu est Parfaitement Connaisseur de ce que vous faites.

يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُواْ كُونُواْ قَوَّامِينَ بِالْقِسْطِ شُهَدَاء لِلّهِ وَلَوْ عَلَى أَنفُسِكُمْ أَوِ الْوَالِدَيْنِ وَالأَقْرَبِينَ إِن يَكُنْ غَنِيًّا أَوْ فَقَيرًا فَاللّهُ أَوْلَى بِهِمَا فَلاَ تَتَّبِعُواْ الْهَوَى أَن تَعْدِلُواْ وَإِن تَلْوُواْ أَوْ تُعْرِضُواْ فَإِنَّ اللّهَ كَانَ بِمَا تَعْمَلُونَ خَبِيرًا

خداوند تبارک و تعالی میفرماید

اى كسانى كه ايمان آورده‏ايد پيوسته به عدالت قيام كنيد و براى خدا گواهى دهيد هر چند به زيان خودتان يا [به زيان] پدر و مادر و خويشاوندان [شما] باشد اگر [يكى از دو طرف دعوا] توانگر يا نيازمند باشد باز خدا به آن دو [از شما] سزاوارتر است پس از پى هوس نرويد كه [درنتيجه از حق] عدول كنيد و اگر به انحراف گراييد يا اعراض نماييد قطعا خدا به آنچه انجام مى‏دهيد آگاه است

Islam's prophet (P.B.U.H) said:

Asceticism in this world is based on three things: shortness of desires, thanksgiving for blessings, and avoiding the prohibited things.

Le Prophète de l' Islam (que lui et sa famille soient bénis) dit:

La vertu est basée sur trois choses dans ce monde: réduire les désires, remercier de tous les grâces et éviter de tous ce que Dieu rend interdit.

قال رسول الله صل الله علیه و آله و سلم

اَلزُّهدُ فى الدُّنْيا قَصْرُ الأَمَلِ وَ شُكْرُ كُلُّ نِعْمَة وَ الوَرَعُ عَنْ كُلِّ مآ حَرَّمَ اللّهُ

زهد در این دنیا بر پایه سه چیز است: کوتاهی آرزو، سپاسگزاری از نعمت ها، و دوری از هر آن چیزی که خداوند حرام کرده است

The least right of Allah on you is that you should not make use of His favors in committing His sins.

Abstain from guilt even in private

Beware of disobeying Allah in solitude because the witness (of that situation) is also the judge.

The first leader of Islam after Prophet Muhammad (s.a) - Imam Ali (P.B.U.H) -said:


* )One who struggles in the way of god and is martyred is not in a higher rank than one who can commit a sin but refrains.


Brief description:


In view of islam's logic, the greatest holy strife is striving with rebellious desires specially in contaminated environments. even struggle with enemy would be fruitful when it is made with sincerity, solidarity, pure intention and free from any selfishness and personal interest and this is not possible unless under sufficient moral education and inner warfare.
thus ali (a.s.) says those who overcome in the battle field with desires, and remain honest in contaminated environments, are not in a lower rank than the martyrs in the way of god. even following this tradition, we read in nahjol balaghah that such people are ranged with heaven angels.

* ) Ce qui lutte pour la cause de Dieu et devient martyre n' a pas un rang plus haut que ce qui peut pécher mais s'en abstient.

مَا الُْمجاهِدُ الشَّهِيْدُ فِى سَبِيْلِ اللّهِ بِأَعْظَمَ أَجْراً مِمَّنْ قَدَرَ فَعَف***

مقام آن کس که در راه خدا جهاد می کند و کشته می شود بیشتر از آن فردی نیست که قادر به گناه است اما عفت می ورزد

Swear by God that I shall never join hands with them like the humbled, and do not escape like the slaves'. I assume death nothing else than prosperity, and life with the unjust nothing else than the cause of blame and misfortune.

لا وَاللّهِ لا أُعْطِيهِمْ بِيَدِيْ إعْطَاءَ الدَّليلِ وَ لا أَفِرُّ فِرارَ الْعَبِيْد... إنِّىْ لا أَرَىَ الْمَوْتَ إلاّ سَعادَةً و الحَياةَ مَعَ الظّالِمِينَ إلاّ بَرَما


به خدا سوگند! من هرگز با آنها سازش نمی کنم و نه مانند بردگان، فرار... همانا مردن در نزد من چیزی جز سعادت، و زندگی با ظالمان چیزی جر خجالت و ندامت نیست

Islam's Prophet (P.B.U.H) said:

the most dignified people in the day of resurrection are those being engaged more in public benevolence.

being at public service is one of the greatest Islamic sorbs, and one of the ways of service to god's people is respecting people's interests and their benefits as one's own interest and benefit, and dealing with their interest and benefits sincerely as one's own interests and benefits and not neglecting benevolence in presence or absence of people.

بلند مرتبه ترین مردم در روز قیامت، خیرخواه ترین آن ها برای دیگران است

believer has a valuable assistance, and low expenditure, and is prudent in life, and is never bitten twice from one hole (never is inflicted twice from one point).

قال الصادق علیه السلام

اَلْمُؤْمِنُ حَسَنُ الْمَعُونَةِ خَفِيفُ الْمَؤُنَةِ، جَيِّدُ التَّدْبِيرِ لِمَعِيْشَتِهِ لا يَلْسَعُ مِنْ جُحْر مَرَّتَيْنِ

مومن، رسیدگی نیکو به دیگران و مخارج کم دارد و در زندگی محتاط است و از یک سوراخ دوبار گزیده نمی شود

Imam Bagher (a.s)-the fifth leader of Islam after the Prophet Muhammad (P.B.U.H) said:



declare to our shiites that no one receives divine favors and bounties unless through action.



brief description :


this speech of imam bagher (a.s.) is a reply to those who suppose that they could reach the highest position before god only by adopting the name of shiism and expressing love to the household of prophet (s.a.), while we know that islam is based on action and real shiites are those whose practical program is an extraction from practical programs of imam ali (a.s.) and his companions, and basically shiite is derived from the word `moshaieat' meaning following somebody. thus those are real shiite of household of prophet (s.a.) who follow them.

قال الباقر علیه السلام

أَبْلِغْ شِيعَتَنا أَنَّهُ لا يُنالُ ما عِنْدَ اللّه إلاّ بِعَمَل

به شیعیان ما اعلام کن که هیچ کس به رحمت و بخشایش الهی نمی رسد مگر با عمل خود

There are six things not existing in the believers: strictness, peevishness, envy, stubbornness, lie and injustice.

قال الصادق علیه السلام

سِتَّةٌ لا تَكُونُ فِى مُؤْمِن: اَلْعُسْرُ وَ النَّكْدُ وَ الْحَسَدُ وَ الْلَّجاجَةُ وَ الْكِذْبُ وَ الْبَغْىُ

شش صفت است که در مومن (حقیقی) نیست: سخت گیری، ترشرویی، حسادت، لجاجت، دروغگویی و بی عدالتی

Imam Jawad (P.B.U.H) - the ninth leader of Islam after the Prophet Muhammad( P.B.U.H) said: the believers require three qualities: divine success, a preacher from the heart and soul, and acceptance from advisers.

in this path, with a lot of acclivity and declivity which man should go through it along his life for being saved from innumerable dangers which threaten his prosperity and also becoming a useful and effective individual in the society, first he needs a spiritual and immaterial relation with god being supported by his pure essence, and then an aware and informed conscience advising him inwardly, and then hearing ears using the thoughts, guidance, advices and consultation of others.

قال امام جواد علیه السلام

اَلْمُؤْمِنُ يَحْتاجُ إلى ثَلثِ خِصَال: توفيقٌ مِنَ اللّه، وَ وَاعِظٌ مِنْ نَفْسِهِ، وَ قَبُولٌ مِمَّنْ يَنْصَحُهُ
مومن به سه خصلت نیاز دارد: توفیق از جانب خدا، واعظی از درونش، وقبول نصیحت از ناصح

the most manifest sign of belief is feeling responsibility, both for what have been already done and for the duties and obligations that should be done.
those having these two feelings, are always thinking about compensation of past negligence, as well as finding the best possible way for using future opportunities. these thoughts are codes of development and progress of a man or a nation. those neither thinking to the previous actions, nor intending to build the future, are poor and miserable.

مومن همواره نگران در مورد دو چیز است: برای گناهان گذشته اش که نمی داند خدا با او در این مورد چگونه رفتار خواهد کرد و برای باقی عمرش که نمی داند چگونه عمل خواهد کرد

when your good deed makes you happy and your bad deed disturbs you, you are a believer.

Brief discription:
islam says that all men are born with a pure primordial nature, nature of belief and love to goodness. taints and sins may affect gradually on man's spirit and soul and change it and turn it totally. however, until man is interested in goodness and hates badness, the spirit of belief and first pure nature still exist in him.
miserable people who are not only disturbed by their bad deeds, but also glory in them and or when they do a self-sacrifice, righteousness, forgiveness and justice become regretful, they are unbelievers.

قال رسول الله صل الله عليه و آله

اذا سَرَّتْكَ حَسَنَتُكَ وَ سائَتْكَ سَيِّئَتُكَ فَاَنْتَ مُؤْمِنٌ

هر گاه کردار نيکت تو را شاد کرد، و عمل نادرستت آزارت داد، پس تو مومن هستي
